Nokia 3589i / 3587i
Customization of Main Screen
On the main screen of my Nokia 3587i it says "Alltel". I seem to remember on previous Nokias that you could change that text, but I cannot find out how to do it on this phone.

it's made for each individual company so wehn the phones are made they are programmed, how i do not know, but i know you cannot change the banner on this phone.

I found the Alpha Tag item
Enter the code *3001#12345#
Select NAM 1
Scroll down to Alpha Tag
Enter the name you want
All Done!
Enter the code *3001#12345#
Select NAM 1
Scroll down to Alpha Tag
Enter the name you want

Update NAM 2 also has Alpha tag don't know the difference between NAM 1 and Nam 2 but tell me if you find out (our your service is canceled by Verizon)(that my carrier)
