Question about the bootloader
I plan on picking up a SIM-unlocked GSM phone for use with T-Mobile. Now, the bootloader is not going to be unlockable on the One X, but I saw someone say that if you don't get the AT&T version, it will be unlockable. My question is: what exactly constitutes a One X that isn't that AT&T version? I mean, if I were to buy a SIM-unlocked One X, couldn't it have been an AT&T version that someone unlocked the SIM on, and thus I wouldn't be able to unlock the bootloader? Is there a SIM-unlocked One X that I can use in the US and also unlock the bootloader?
I hope my question makes sense, let me know if I need to clarify.

I can't say for sure, but there definitely are two versions of this phone. One is unlocked and has a bigger, but not necessarily faster processor. It just uses up more battery.
Also, my last phone was an unlocked Galaxy S 4g I put on T-mobile. After just having got the ATT One X, I cannot stress how much faster the LTE is. It is faster than the WiFi in office or apartment. I def liked T-mo for price and freedom but, damn, this phone is fast now.

Got ya...so basically you have to use the non-LTE Tegra 3 version for it to be unlockable. I may not be able to go with the One X then. 😢
