I know you can purchase cables that hook the a670 up to a computer, but what does this allow you to do?
What i really want to know is if you can transfer pictures from the phone to the computer. If you cant....what use is a camera on the phone? I dont want to have to send the pictures to my computer and get charged for pic messaging.

Plz help me out on this one, thanks 🙂

I belive that all the Date Cable does for the phone is allow you to transfer your contacts from your phone to computer and helps you manage them. I think that if you were to hook up the phone to your laptop you could somehow use the phone as a modem for accessing the internet but im not sure of how that works.

Sorry to hear that. I assume that when you say let down you mean about the pictures. I'm not 100% sure if it's possible becauseI've personally never tried it before but that is then genarl information about the Data Cable.

Well i was just hoping that i would be able to transfer my pictures to my PC without spending the money to use verizons service. I guess its not that big of a deal, i have a digital camera i use most of the time.

Just download BitPim from here and you can download/upload your address book, photos, ringtones, calendar, etc. 😁

Can someone explain a little more about how you can use a BitPim to download ringtones from your computer to your phone? Is this possible? How do you manage the size of the file so that it is a ringtone rather than a full song?

Thanks for your help!! 🙂
