can this phone connect to the computer with a usb cord. if it can will it connect by a normal usb cord or do i have to buy a special one.

That site (which is pretty well rated) has it for $10.
I'm not exactly sure what software you need to use the cable though, but it would be nice to be able to send mp3 ringtones, backgrounds etc to the phone for free.
