So far,
I like it. I have no problem with the screen. I am keeping my fingers crossed about the battery.

I can follow up now. This phone has some weird problems. Most of the time, I can't get a signal, and I live in a good signal area. I get out of memory error messages sometimes when downloading an app, the gallery app does not work as well as on the original Droid. It's not any faster now tha my original Droid was. I got the car dock today and ther does not seem to be any automatic docking on my phone. It is not as nice a phone as I had hoped. It is not intuitive to use . I suppose that I am stuck with this phone. I am putting a lot of hope in an update.

The more I explore this phone, the more I am disappointed. Today, I tried to use the Music application. This is the app that shows up in car mode. It will only access music that i have stored on the phone, it should connect to Google Music Beta. I read that Pandora was possible in car mode, I sure don't see that.

Today, I decided to see what files I have on the SD card, since I have moved every program that that will move. Using the Files app on the phone, shows almost no files on the SD card, but hundreds of files still on the phone. Is it moving anything that I ask it to move?

Maybe I just don't understand this phone yet, but if that is the case, it should not be so hard to figure out. Each app should have some kind of help file. I w...

I switched my Thunderbolt out for the Bionic and it was probably the worst decision i've made. I kept hearing flagship and best phone - mistake. The phone is riddled with big bugs. Buzzing in the speaker, internet connectivity issues, unreal errors (memory full), network issues. App's disappearing.

I'm ready for the thunderbolt back.

I sort of solved the Car Home situation. You have to put the phone into the dock, then plug it into the Power. I was able to get the home screen to have apps I wanted, especially Google Music by adding it to the Car Home screen.

All of this should have been documented. Its weird that accessing preferences is not always done in the same fashion.

I was able to see the files on my SD card by using a 3rd party app.

You are right, this phone is doomed. Even if they fix everything now, it will not recover from this initial bad rap. I too was excited by this phone. I am starting to think that maybe Motorola can't make a cool machine.

I am slowly evolving into an Apple fan boy.

Not giving up on Moto YET - but giving up on the Bionic!

I got the green light (because I am within my 14 days) to pre-order the RAZR on the 27th and an extra set of days between the pre order and whenever the RAZR arrives.

I believe the RAZR will be the flagship that the Bionic never was - and willing to pay the $35 restocking fee on that hunch.

You were lucky, congrats. What amazes me is that I still see good reviews come out on this phone. There was one this week in Laptop Magazine...these people can't possible be actually using this phone.
