Hi i have just got the motorola a835 .
i cant seem to figure how to access the mp3 player or how to get music onto it.

i bought mine off ebay. it is an "unlocked" model. i had service put on it by T-Mobile

if you are using USB or IR, you should install the included software. then just open the multimedia center to transfer audio files.
