When I first bought the Galaxy Prevail I thought, "great, is has everything I need at such a good price!" Until.......a few days ago, when it started to re-boot over and over. It would turn off and on even when I am trying to make a call. It is getting really frustrating. I tried calling the Boost Call Care for tech advise and all I heard was "to re-boost or add money." I went to their website and called the number they have posted for technical support...and got the same thing...money..money...money. How can I get in touch with a real human being that can tell me how to fix the problem? This on and off business really sucks! 😡
Boost Mobile contacted me. They walked my through the settings and guess what? I no longer have access to my voice mail!! Their techs are inexperienced. They are passing the buck to Samsung. I was told by Boost that I may have to mail in my phone and who knows how long it will take for them to fix it. Samsung is closed today so now I have a phone that not only turns off and on, I also cant access my email. Thank you Boost for your great service. this really sucks 😡
I had some trouble with my Prevail also but (this is astonishing) it seems that keeping it in a pocket or purse without a cover causes a problem with the keyboard. I was keeping it in a briefcase and carrying it on a plane and the phone got jostled around between things. One night I couldn't get it unlocked. the bottoms keyes kept flashing. I took on the battery rebooted multiple times, etc. The next morning everything worked fine. I have kept in in cover when travelling and never had another problem.
