LG VX-4500
VX4500 on Long Island
I presently have a contract with Cingular which is about to expire (can't wait). Thinking of switching to Verizon due to its superior ratings. I am considering the LG4500 as the handset. However, I am unsure about going all digital. I do drive from NY to Florida and visit in California and Las Vegas. Will I regret not having analog service???????

No problems, this is the best reception, and overall phone I've used in the past 10 years. Enjoy it. My impression is this phone has been severely overcritised by lots of the reviewers.

I live on LI and have no probs at all. The phone pretty much works everywhere. I have done a bit of traveling this year and had converage everywhere...up I-87 going to Montreal, Las Vegas, Chicago, Cleveland, down I-95 to Maryland. No probs at all.
