Sanyo SCP-7200 / RL-2000
Best Buy availability
Does anyone know if this phone or the RL2500/SCP-5400 phone will be sold at Best Buy? Someone wrote that the RL2000 is available at Radio Shack and its listed on their website, but I can't find a store location that has it to even get a look at it. Also, sprint's site says these phones are only available through Sprint stores?? I have an older version of the RL2000 (the Sanyo 4900) which I bought at Best Buy and I want to upgrade with either the RL2000 or RL2500 but must do it through a BB store. Any help would be great.

Best Buy is only carrying the 5500, you would have to pay the differnce from the lowest priced vision phone in order to buy that one.

I know for a fact that this phone is in Radio Shack. I saw it in the store myself. I have seen it in the Richmond, VA Radio Shack stores. I'm not sure where you are located. Maybe it's just available at certain Radio Shacks in large metropolitan areas. There's about 20 or so Radio Shacks here in the Richmond area.
I also know that it is listed on eBay for $150.
This phone is very much like the Nextel i530 or i230. I forgot the series number.
I'm a GSM customer, but if I wasn't I'd buy one of those. I'm somewhat of a techie, so I read a lot of the magazines and reviews on these phones, etc. Sprint has great phones, but there service is not that great from the experience that I had with them several years ago.
