Just saw a Verizon commercial offering buy one Fascinate and get any Verizon phone for free. Is Verizon having problems selling the Fascinate??

No, the phone JUST LAUNCHED last week. It's too early to see if they have any issues with it.
But considering this is the most heavily verizon branded handset they've released to date, chances are good they want it to sell really well because they'll not only get the new data, but (most likely) a HUGE kickback from Microsoft for all those Bing searches.
The phone would've sold great WITHOUT a bogo, the bogo just ensures that people come in looking for the phone in particular (because most reps would point customers instead to a d2, dx, or dinc)
