No Camcorder Shortcut Allowed On Home Screen??

Love EVERYTHING About My Vibrant...But Am i missing something by not being able to place a shortcut to the Camcorder on Homescreen?

i'm not familiar with this particular phone (tho i'm looking to get it), but it doesn't surprise me. Every samsung i've had and used doesn't have any kind of shortcut for video taking. you always have to go into "camera" or go into it after you've accessed the camera.
