Why is something so simple not on our X?
How can it be that on such a high-end phone there is no visual indicator when the battery is charged? It blows my mind that a feature so basic is not on this phone. Even the first droid and the incredible have it,not to mention every phone i can think of. Crazy

i know of 2 that i have seen, one is the battery no longer has a lightning bolt inside of the battery icon, and the other on the front of the lock screen says that the battery is fully charge.. is there another that the d1 had that i didn't see when i had the phone?

What i meant was a way to tell the phone is fully charged without having to open the phone. The D1 had a light on the side and the incredible's front light would change colors when its done. The X has no visual indicator to let you know it's finished, and that would be nice to have.

yeah forgot about that.... that was nice to have especially to know that your phone was accepting a charge too. i miss that... however the reason probably is that they packed some much BA'ness into the phone it didn't need a wussy little light to tell you its ready to kick arse, you just know!!!

I found a couple of apps that signal when the battery is finished charging. One is called overcharged which actually lets you have a voice tell you it's charged and another one is called Droid essentials.

My BlackBerry does not have one.
