Droid Incredible vibrate mode

How is the vibrate mode on the Droid Incredible? I ask this, because about six or eight months ago I purchased a Droid Eris. I was so excited, but after about twenty minutes of having it activated, I decided to deactivate it and go back to my good ole trusty LG VX8700 that I have used for the past four years. The problem was that the vibrate mode on the Eris was so weak, that I was walking around the house testing receiving calls on it, and I could not tell it was ringing. First and foremost these devices are telephones, and if I don't know anyone is calling me, what is the point of having it. I guess it is obvious that for me, a reliably strong vibrate mode is a function that is a dealbreaker. Thanks for any input anyone can give me.

Well, When I have my incredible on vibrate mode or silent mode and I recieve text or e-mail notification it is weak. all you get is a slight vibrate and then it stops. and you dont even get like a reminder vibrate every 2 minutes or so to let you know u missed a text, call or e-mail. The screen does not even light up when it is on sleep mode to let you know that something came in. it stays powered off. I had to download an APP called "Missed Call" and this let me change the ringtone and how the vibration works, you can change style and how long it vibrates for. Great App and its free. Hope this helps. 😛
