Phone shutting down
Anyone having issues with their phone just shutting off and recycling back on with out touching it?

Mine has done it once while I was using it like it locked up, then rebooted. That was a couple days ago.

Power cycling is not something android is known for. it should only happen if the phone gets overloaded, or if a bad app causes a loop.

I have only downloaded the following

a few ringtone apps
googles
stocks
find starbucks
I added a micro sd card. All I did was plug that in so I do not know

If it is still giving you issues, I would take it back to where you got it and have it exchanged. Even most retailers honor the 30 day exchange policy
Also, keep tabs on your battery usage (settings, battery) and see if an app is chugging battery/cpu cycles. if it is, uninstall it. None of those apps should cause this.. but for me it was a signal mapper.. so who knows.
