Do you really have to go thru the whole "you can now safely remove hardware" every time the phone is finished charging from your pc? And what if you have charge only selected on the phone? I know its not a big deal but it would be nice just to be able to unplug the dang thing especially if you're in a hurry. Thanks

As long as your SD card isn't mounted, you can just unplug it no issue. That warning is only for things that arn't hot-swappable, which Droids are.
