Any way to disable the auto-locking feature??

The phone locks itself whenever the screen dims and I can't find any setting to change it.

To unlock, I have to push the button on top of the phone then slide an unlock bar down on the screen. Doing this EVERY time I want to use the phone, answer a call, see a text seems a bit much.

Anyone know a way to change these settings?

Thanks! The reviewers are saying it defaults to a 30-second time out that can't be changed. Have you found that to be the case?

Not on the phone itself but the reviewers of the screen mode app said it defaults to a 30 second lock and it can't be changed.

I can't believe the phone itself has NO WAY to disable the auto=locking feature. They must be kidding!

It's a touchscreen only device. without auto locking the battery would drain and you would be opening up stuff all over the place.

Do you get paid by the exclamation points?

I have read the manual. I saw nothing in there about how to disable the auto-locking feature. Perhaps you can tell me what page it's on.

The App Store has an app called "Unlock" that disables the auto lock function on the phone- still times out to "sleep" mode, but you don't have to unlock it each time. Prob is that the volume keys on the side will also wake up the phone then- easy to press in a holster or case.
