Touch screen vs. BB keypad

Wondering how painful it is going from keyboard to touch screen. I've been on a Curve for sometime and I love the keyboard but hate the internet. Is it just a learning curve and getting used to a touch screen or a major change?

Thanks in advance.

Good question. I went from a Storm 1&2 to a Tour, now the Incredible Droid. This keyboard is VERY easy to use. I like it.

I agree. I've gone from Storm 1 to Storm 2, with a Touch Pro 2 thrown in for a short period (using both the slide-out and the on-screen keyboards), and I like the Incredible keyboard better than any of them.

Going from a blackberry to a touchscreen will be REALLY annoying at first, but after a week or two you'll start getting your old speed back.

the HTC keyboard is one of the best out there, both for layout and auto correction.

I was addicted to my blackberry and thought I'd NEVER get a phone with a touchscreen. How wrong I was. HTC makes one of the best in the business. I have the Eris, and this phone is a step up. I don't even turn the phone to landscape that often, I can type fine in portrait mode (with tinier keys). The auto predict feature is fantastic. I am amazed at how fast I type on the touchpad. You do have to get used to it, but you will.
