HTC EVO 4g as a modem .. mobile wifi hotspot ???
Greetings,
I am typing this out from my soon to be old BB8330 ..
Its starting to act really weird so today I called Sprint and they offered me an upgrade to the new EVO .. I really don't know a lot about it so here I am.
1st ? .. Can the phone be used to connect my laptop to the net ? My BB won't do that.
2nd ? .. I'm hearing about Android os . What is it and what can it do for me?
3rd ? .. I like the fact that my BB alerts me to txt msgs, e mails, and FB msgs. I was told the EVO will not do this with e mails ..
Well I guess that's enough for now ..

PLZ tell me how you got them to do put you in a Evo!!! I have 5 yes 5 BB's and the new Bold the put me in is having it our issuses! I have asked to be put in an Evo and all I get is sorry we can't do that! They said they could put my into something else, but Evo is out of the question!! Plz advise!!!

they offered to UPGRADE her to an Evo. W/out knowing the specifics I'm pretty sure she was qualified for the upgrade she was offered. Warranty issues and exchanges are going to be for like models. Blackberrys for other blackberrys.
