Ummm....hello Sprint?
I've been following the forums on several different websites, including Sprint's own forums...and everywhere the rumor is that April 16th was the debut for this phone. WHERE IS THIS DEBUT???!! I haven't seen anything in regards to the EVO's release date, price and plan required. Does anyone have an update on this? This is so frustrating that Sprint is doing nothing after Verizon just released the Incredible yesterday. WAKE UP SPRINT!!!

Michigan I work for sprint and if you go to www.sprint.com/evo it states right at the bottom of the page that it will be released this summer. They just started to releasse a 7 week info course to the employees about the phone that way we can know all the info that we need to know about the phone. they have not released an official release date. any dates that are mentioned are pure speculation. Idealy from previous years when they have had a big launch like this it happens in mid to late june. but as of today 4/16/2010 there is no official release date yet. As far as the price plan we are understanding that the data450 is the plan that it is going to have to have. there may be a special package required for the 4g end of the phone but the d...

Thanks for the reply Maq51085. I think I'm more frustrated with this rumor than anything. I thought for sure that we would hear something today after the Incredible was announced yesterday for Verizon. All along I knew the release date would be June 6th or 13th, however I thought Sprint would come public of the release date,plans,prices etc..Thanks for the info.

no problem. I spend my days off and nights off at home doing research on this phone. i love working for sprint and being able to share the info that i have available to me. when i know the info needed i will definately post it onto here for people to be able to utilize. I am excited about this phone. I am cancelling my trip for this summer to be able to afford this phone. my husband and I are both going to be getting this phone.

as of right now yes. they haven't revealed any pricing yet. sorry to burst the bubble. Honestly i personally as a consumer would think pricing w/out upgrade or discounts would be closer to $599 just b/c of the brand, and all the functions. but we will see.

no they have said that they will make it available to employees at the same time. possibly a little early to be able to get to know the device.

sprint really needs to step up and get this out now! The new iPhone 2.0 is kick ass. Come on sprint release the HTC Evo, get some news and promotion about this phone because when the iPhone 2.0 comes out no phone is going to match the crazyness..
