Ok so another question does the battery life suffer when connected to wifi. I know when I use my G1 with wifi the battery life goes down with in hrs. And if I have no cell signal it is even worse since the phone is constantly looking for a connection.

Yes, every phone ever made and will ever be made will use more battery life if wifi is turned on or if you are searching for reception.

Umm.... I've heard of prototype wireless cargers that can charge your phone. I think that was actually on phonescoop a while ago. I've never heard anything about wifi charging tho.

Right now you can't charge via WiFi. I think you are referring to wireless inductive charging. This allows you to charge with no cord. I suppose if you use WiFi when you do this it could be considered WiFi charging?

Yes WiFi charging is in this works. You're not exactly going to quick charge your phone while on it but it will at least maintain battery life while you're connected to the WiFi "charger".
