Who knows how to make the keys stay backlit longer?

Sep 7, 2004, 3:15 PM
That's my first question.

My second is my wife wants her phone to ring and vibe, but on the "High & Vibrate" setting, the ringer is way too loud. Any way to lower the volume but still have the vibrate function on? Maybe a hack to adjust what "high" is. Thanks...

no, you can not adjust the volume on the Vib & High setting, that would be why it's called Vib & HIGH...

and why does the title of the post have absolutley nothing to do with what you asked in the post? to answer the title, no, there's no way to change the lenght of time the keypad stays on. it only stays on for 7 seconds, this was however adressed and changed on the 3200 and 7000, i've never tried it on other LG phones that came out since then...

Thanks for all your efforts, "Mr. Helpful!" 😁 😁

I'll be sure to address you directly in the future, since you're a virtual treasure trove of useful info and pleasant attitude. Why bother with a forum? - you should open your own support site. Thanks a bunch!

This maybe a little late, but the time on the main LCD should be the same amount of time that the keypad stays lit. Unless I misunderstood what you were asking for...
