Three-way/conference calling

Can anyone tell me how to do three-way/conference calling on this phone? A Verizon rep once told me to use the clear button but it didn't work.

What you do is when you on the phone with someone, you start dialing and hit send. This will bring you to another line automatically. Hit send again to reconnect with the other person.
