My v600 is on the way. My question is, what is the best way to charge the battery so that i can get the full usage. everyone i talk to has their own methods but i always seem to screw up and it seems like i don't train the battery well. thanks.

You're right everyone has their own method, here' mine:
When you get the phone charge the battery till the phone reads charged.
Then let the battery work its way down till you get the warning beeps. Then recharge it. Don't leave it on the charger longer than you have to. I try to get it off the charger within an hour after the phone reads charged. You shouldn't leave it on the charger over night.
You should try to let the battery discharge as much as possible before recharging, this will help eliminate any "memory".
Hope this helps

the phone uses a lithium ion battery. there is no "memory" effect with these batteries. so there's no reason to let it drain all the way down nor a "best" way to charge it.

feel free to charge it whenever it's handy. i generally plug mine in overnight when i'm at home. if i'm out one night or two i don't worry. if i'm going to be gone more than that i take my charger with me.

i have to disagree...in the booklet it states to do it a certain way the first couple of times...then after that it's ok

well. disagree all you want. but lion batteries don't develop a chemical "memory" effect.

when i first get mine, i turn it on, use it till it dies, then charge it up, i do this consecutively 3 times. the whole overnight thing i BELIEVE is not an issue, this battery and charger are made to not overcharge or anything like that.

Hope this helps
