i have the cable for transfering ringtones and wallpapers to my phone but i dont have mobile phone tools. is there anyway to get mobile phonet tools or anything compatible to download from the internet for free?

go here: http://www.motophonecases.com/downloads.html, download ver 1.23, don't run it, then download ver 2.16. Once you have 2.16 run MPT and run live update. If there is more than one update do one at a time. More than one at a time didn't work for me. Once you have the update you should be able to transfer ringtones and wallpapers.

thanks it worked with installing it, but when it is loaded it just says thats initailizing... and thats all.

you have to go to "menu" the select "setup" then configure your modem, it should be motorola usb modem, that should work.

Just get the blue tooth adapter. MPT 2.16 is fully compatiable with the v600.

i cant i have the v400. everything is fine except when i really have signal, on the mpt, it says i dont .

I only know how to use it with the v600 not the v400. But if you know need the program I might be able to help you out. What is your AIM SN?

I have done exactely this from both the spanish motclub site an now this site and neather has worked. I am getting so frustrated with this whole thing. It acts as if the phone isnt even communicating with the computer. Do you have to download anything else like drivers or more programs besides the version 1 and 2 and the updates? When I try to see if the modem is working it always give me an error message about cannot communicate with phone. Please help!

i no i got the same message. it is so stupid. does urs say that it cant connect to the computer. and the signal is blank? does it say bad recepetion when u have reception?

Well mine doesnt even sat that, it says initializing and never goes from there. Plus there is a red symbol over something yellow on the top right corner of the phone screen on the computer. When I try and test the communication with the modem, it says it cannot communicate with the modem.
