Does anyone know if your able to put 2 numbers under one person's name instead of having to have the same name twice for 2 different numbers? Please help thanks

Yes you can have more than one number for each person. When you enter a persons name, just scroll to the bottom and hit "more" to add another number. If you want the phonebook to display only one name at a time as opposed to all of the numbers for each name, just goto the menu option while viewing phonebook, then goto setup, then choose "Primary Contacts" under "View". This will make it to where you only see "mom" once on your phone book even though you have her home,cell,and work number all linked to her name.

thanks for the tip! i didn't know this.

is there a way to desginate the "primary" number or is it simply the first one entered for the contact?

YES, go to phonebook->phonebook menu->set primary->then pick the number you want.

TIP-----i found out that for you to make a primary number, the name of the multiple numbers has to be the SAME. at one point i had , that don't work, you have to have then pick the different pictures of phone insignias stating-cell,work,home,main,etc... hope this helps
