I just purchased the 8600 and can't figure how to use the voice dial feature. On another phone I had all you had to do was push the Cancel button and it would ask you for the name to dial.

Any and all help would be great!!!

Thanks

Just press the send key (green telephone button). Hold it down for a long time and the "VR" (voice recognition) mode will be activated.

Ok this seems more complicated than it really is...you have to go to voice services in your menu and go to voice command train all the words in this area to your voice...once that is done you can hold down the call key for 5 seconds, a new screen comes up, you are now in VR (Voice Recognition Mode) say DIAL, than the number, slowly, if you say clear it only clears the last number you say, when you are done you can say VERIFY to make sure the number is correct, than say CALL it will beep at you than place the call...I hope this helps everyone out...it took me awhile to figure this out too...
