# 3 key sticking - on a touchscreen dialpad ?!
sorta funny but annoying -
The # 3 key on the dialpad "sticks" - it squeals a few seconds and then releases...does this both in speaker and non-speaker mode. No other key does this. I do use "3" alot (but same for 2 and 1). Just started this.
Q) Software of hardware issue?
Q) Only solution is to get another device (again)? I was hoping BB could just fix it somehow.

It sounds like a hardware (mechanical) issue.
Software would not conflict with a physical abnormality.
I'd be surprised if RIM would respond other than to advise you to contact Verizon. Backup your device and get a replacement under warranty.
If the other buttons work and the 3 button victimizes you, then it appears to be a short under the clicking screen.
