I must say though that I am surprised that VZW decided to release this phone before the Samsung A610. I know that both of them were in testing.
this phone sucks...
i went to the verizon store to look at the 'verizon 8900' and it sucks my balls.....
i was expecting a better phone... the antenna is a little too tall... the material doesnt seem to durable... its cheap...
i like the screen.. didnt have a problem with that to much.... i also like the rubber stopper behind the hinge.. thats a smart move..
i am going to wait for the moto v810 hopefully that is better! if it isnt im going to pee on verizon
my final opinion:
the verizon 8900 sucks my balls
I also have to note that when I transferred pix from my digital camera to the phone via email and used those photos for photo caller ID, they look great.
This phone has a good size, good speakerphone (I've had NO problems with it), and an outer display (which sure as hell is better than the a610's flip-around feature).
It's NOT one of the best phones ava...
and if you work at Verizon, you should already
The 8xxx phones are made by Hyundai and the
9xxx phones are made by Toshiba.
Audiovox is just the name of the company they
are imported under.
The Toshiba phones are much better quality.
Last year my friend was looking at the 9155 and
8300. He first got the 8300, but exchanged it
for the 9155 and has been quite happy with it.
Hyundai is know for crappy phones.
Since the 9900 is made by Toshiba, it should
be very good.
I am looking for software for my 8900t so that i can send my contact info from my computer to pc, other then buying the one from audiovox. I have a cable just need the software.
