Motorola Droid
voice command not working?
I got a call from my girlfriend saying her voice command on her droids not working. I figured she was just doing something wrong. So I tried mine and its not working either. Its not recognizing any voice at all. Any one else having this problem? 😢

actually this is the first problem i have experienced. i love the droid and have a feeling that theres a few million others that share my feelings.

If by "voice command" you
mean the ability to touch the button on your BT
headset and say a name to call, that ability
does not work over bluetooth at this time.
But should be added at a later firmware update.
I do a voice dialed call, you need to put a
"Voice Dialer" icon on your main screen, and then speak directly into the phone, and then again tap the screen to confirm that name you want to dial is correct.
It sucks for now, but rest of the phone is great.
Once voice commands get working like every other phone out there the DROID will go from 95% awesome to 98% awesome. (2% if they ever added dedicated send and end keys, or a software update to turn existing buttons into
send and end)
