anyone having issues where people on the other end complain of echoing? when i call someone- and this happens intermittently, of course, they'll sometimes complain that they are echoing. whenever they complain that they echo, i hear every third word of what they are saying.

any ideas?

Do you have a silicone case on it? I have issues in past whenever I used a silicone case the echoing would begin.

A Verizon rep told me this was a problem in 7 to 8% of the Droids his store sold. You might want to just exchange it. Also, I read on another forum that if you have the Call Privacy setting enabled, you need to turn it off. There is also some type of hearing aid setting that needs to be turned off. Folks were saying that helped get rid of the echo. There is also supposed to be a fix for this in the Dec. 11 software update, though if I were you I'd just exchange the phone. Good luck!
