yes it does work i use it with my laptop at work and sometimes when im out eating the speeds not too bad

i googled it. sorry i dont have more info but i did it a while ago, so i dont remember details. i googled it and it brought me to a youtube video of how to do it, and it worked very well. i dont think the tethering works as well as, say, my nokia n85. but it does work. what i do like about the iphone is all i have to do is plug it in and it turns the tethering on. nokia i have to open pc suite and hit connect. not a big deal, but apple just does some things better.
