is the web browsing on the Tour full HTML or still mobile browsing I have on my Curve right now?

Your Curve is more than mobile browser capable. it may be defaulted to mobile browsing though. It's worth checking your settings.

The standard browser isn't the greatest in the world, but you can always download better ones such as Opera.
