How do you make the D-pad "OK" button to not "Send"??

Does anyone know how to set the inside D-pad "OK" button so that it does not send the message?

I've accidentally sent a few unfinished messages when I was trying to use the directional arrows to edit the message and hit the "OK" button in the center. It would be great if the only way to send a message was the actual "Send" button above the D-pad.

Does anyone know how the remove the send function from the D-pad "OK" button.

Here's the best tip I've seen... don't put in the name of addressee until you are ready to send the message, then you'll be able to edit it as much as you want without fear of sending an incomplete or inaccurate message.

Thanks for the suggestion. I had actually already started doing that as a work-around. It would be nice if there were another way to correct this, but I guess this will have to do. Thanks again for your reply.
