Using Sounds for Ringtones - There LOUD!

Jul 7, 2009, 5:53 PM
If anyone would like to use the "Sounds" that came on the LG enV Touch as "Ring Tones" you can do the following.

1. Go to the Sound that you want.
2. Go to Options and pick Send.
3. Text the sound to yourself.
4. After receiving the text.
5. Go to Options and Save as Ringtone.

You will find that these sounds are louder than any other Ringtones are that came on your phone.

PS: If anyone has any other "Free Ringtones" that are "Loud" - Please let us know how to get them.

I downloaded my current ringtone here. http://www.televisiontunes.com/Price_is_Right _%28The%29.html

...and I have this set as my alert for a missed call. http://www.televisiontunes.com/Price_is_Right _-_Losing_Horn_%28The%29.html

It is louder than any of the ringtones that I've payed for through VZW. I felt ripped off after purchasing one of the songs I had on my previous phone and its 1/3 of the volume on this damn thing...

If you want really loud ringtones MP3's you need to open the mp3 up in a program like Adobe Premiere Pro or Soundbooth and then edit the MP3 file by right clicking on the track on the timeline then choosing Audio Gain and also raise the volume output so when you render it out, the mp3 will sound louder. I tried this and it works great.
