I am SO upset at LG and Verizon! Do any of their employees ever use these phones?
I owned the original Voyager and loved 99% of everything but had to return it because no matter what ring tone i used and what volume setting i chose..............you just can not hear it ring unless your in a quiet room!
Same EXACT thing with the Touch! How upset i was when i tried it out. I thought the themes sucked big time but could have lived with those but the volume issue is ridiculous.
Does anyone have an answer or fix for this?

Sorry but I agree with Lennydude I have perfect hearing and if the ENv touch is in my purse pocket on the side of the purse and it is hanging on my shoulder you cannot hear it ring!!!!! mine is going back just for that reason

There isnt a way to "fix" it because nothing is wrong with it. The issue is that just like the Voyager it dosent have an external speaker system. The speakers are inside the phone which is going to be closed most of the time. The best way to "fix" the probelem is to get a phone that has outside speakers or wear it on the outside of your clothes/purse (case, clip , holster, ETC...

EXACTLY! Also, when purchasing ringtones through get-it-now, do the preview before you buy it, some play louder than others!

My sister had the Voyager and the ringer was bad. I have the touch and I have no problem hearing it ring.

Hey just got my phone when it first came out also but I agree the ringtones are low. But if you know how to get free ringtone to your phn. Heres how. First goto web sites that have free wav clip or midi clip sounds. then save to your computer. then goto your email and type your M# like this ex. 7141234567@vzwpix.com on the send or email addr. then goto to attach files and find your sound ie wav or midi. this will charge your text message unless you spend $10 a mth with Verizon W and you get unlimited M2M and 500 extra to any carrier or emails. You can attach up to 3 sounds at a time. Maybe four the max. Its on your text. When you rec your text as a pix msg your first sound you will hear just touch anddd slide your finger up to hear te next s...

😢 I really Liked this phone, I have been looking for a touch screen with QWERTY keyboard to relace my LG DARE and I thought this was the perfect answer. BUT it's going back just becuase the speaker loudness. Even in my back pocket when I'm walking down the street I cant hear it ring I am missing calls all the time. What a shame.. Does LG even test these phones before putting them out on the market? and does Verizon do a any kind of Quality test before saying yes to a phone from a company? Very, very disapointed... 😢
