Will Verizon push O/S 5 to the Storm(1)
Sorry if this has already been covered. I've been away from this forum for a while. Does anyone know if Verizon will push o/s 5 to the Storm?

Uhh...they already did. They released it before they released Storm2. But if you mean OTA, I don't think they did/will. You have to install with DM.

I'm trying to update to O/S 5.0 on my storm. The update has been stuck for a half hour on "Download device software" with 149 0f 358 modules downloaded. Does anyone know how long this should take? Any advice on what steps I can take?

Have tried it several times. Always seems to get stuck 2/3 of the way through. After about ten minutes of being stuck, I get a message that something is wrong with my internet connection. Now I seem to have lost my defined sound alerts, and there is no way to change them. Crazy. Will keep trying.

While some changes are pushed OTA, the process updating to O/S 5 is too extensive to perform over the air.
I periodically checked OTA and no update was available, although I would notice changes in icons. Then one day I finally loaded up the Device Manager and the major update was available. My phone rebooted several times and took over an hour to update.
