I downloaded the weatherbug app and it says you need to get blackberry maps. Wtf is that? I tried to download that and it wouldn't let me - gave me some retarded message saying I can't. Anyone know how this works or how to get this installed?

well, the weatherbug i use never needed that app but it should be on your phone. almost all the bb i have seen have bb maps installed onto them and if you look into your application folder it should be in there.... you might have not installed it yet onto you phone. 😢

Well if it should be on my phone, do you know why it isn't? It's not like I removed anything. Then I tried downloading maps from the blackberry site and it gave me another bullshit error. Anyone know how to get this fixed?

go into options, advanced options, applications... look for blackberry maps.. if not there you might have to hook your phone to the desktop manager and go into app loader and go into add apps... check through there and you should see it in there. if you do hit the box to give it either a check or uncheck when you do that i should say install to the right.... if not say screw it and dl the weathereye program that is free off of the bb app store. and then you can download google maps from google. bam!! problem solved lol.

Mr. Twizted you took the words right out of my mouth. I was posting a carbon copy remedy when a brownout stormed me off the air (pun intended)...yes & a lousy one at that, but I reinstalled BB maps from Desktop Computer check box after having once deleted it from the phone.

After that WeatherBug easily DL. For those interested in another good APP....WeatherBerry at CrackberryApps.com. (Great Reviews). My problem now is which one to keep. Only need one advisory for summer heat "cooking" conditions and I like em both??? 🤭

Your right! I won't be the only one carrying two redundant apps. Between them, I'm bound to get a forecast predicting a rain storm that might really occur... 🙄
