Well, it looks like the intitial haters of the Storm are starting to go away. The more educated Blackberry users are starting to add their thoughts and in my opinion, doing a very good job of countering the rediculous comparisons to other phones...especially the Iphone.

Now that people are getting the new OS, things are looking up with fewer people complaining. The new OS makes the Storm a very good blackberry. Just wait till .76 comes( even better). Patience will reward you my friends. Ignore the negative reviews..better yet, read into them. What I mean is, if you read closly on who's complaining, you will see that many are first time berry users who were expecting something similar to the Iphone, Voyager or Dare. I'll be honest h...

The initial overreaction almost scared me away from buying this device, and I am glad I saw through it.

Personally, having used both an LG Dare and a BB Curve, I found adapting to this phone quite easy. I only had to reference the manual to find out how to remove the battery cover.

With that said, does the Storm have a standby mode like the Curve and other models do? Also, I have come across another possible con...the screen lock is kinda weak, about as weak as the one on the Dare. I will have to add a pass code to make it more secure, don't need any pocket dialing!

When I was in the Verizon store the other day to purchase some accessories for the Storm. I played around w/ the display model and either to many people played w/ it or the OS needs updated b/c it was very slow compared to the one that was mailed to me. If I was playing around w/ it before I bought it I don't think I would have picked it up. However, that doesn't stop the people from ordering the phone. The closest store to me is still selling out as soon as they get them. BB did is nice job w/ the phone. The tactile push screen is just something some people have to get comfortable with...I don’t think it’s a hate it or love it issue. Some of my colleagues and I really like that feature. We are all a little rough on our phones I gu...
