Should I buy?
Is the G1 worth getting without the 3G network?
I LOVE the Iphone... and I hear you can unlock it for T-mobile service. Should I do that?
What does this phone have that makes it superior?
We use gmail for work... but I can't I open gmail from an Iphone?
Someone help me make a decision.
1. Can't see the keyboard on the Bronze model
2. Too much of a brick
3. Accelerometer not utilized with OS
4. I thought a developer would make a video capture app but I am not sure if it will happen now
5. I want to check out the Samsung Behold
If some good updates come out I might order the black model.
Or is it just another fun new phone with a sweet camera but not very business friendly?
Real Web browsing
Video capture and playback
EDGE high speed data
MegaTones and HiFi ringers
Memory card slot
myFaves capable - introducing the new Wave Hello feature allowing customers to send Waves, Kisses and Hugs via MMS to their myFaves contacts
Real Web browsing
5 megapixel camera with flash
Music and video player

The Behold will have very little available for download, but it will be COMPLETE out of the box and I don't have much of a business need.

-you don't mind possibly not having faster 3g in your area for the moment
-not sure if there are problems with unlocked phones from other carriers being put on t-mobile but if you are sticking with t-mobile I would get a supported phone from them
Go to an apple store and play around with the iphone. It's a love it or hate it thing with some because it's all touch screen.

The 3g network will not be available in Jacksonville until sometime next year. My t-mobile contract is up in May. I need something now!
tdrocker said:Is the G1 worth getting without the 3G network?Yes. Then again, thats like asking if its worth buying a top-end computer even though your only using Dail-Up. EDGE on the G1 is not like dail-up, but it wont be much faster then current phones (wi...
