Is there a way to check how much batter life is left like you could on the the blackberry curves where it showed the percentage left of power left on the battery. If anyone knows that would be great thanks.

I don't know of any actual percentage display, but I have found that the E71 battery indicator on the screen is pretty accurate.

My battery will easily last a week of daily use. I have noticed that sometimes in AT&T 3G areas the battery goes down much faster than in 2G. I still LOVE this phone and all the folks in the AT&T stores marvel at it whenever I come in. Too bad for AT&T for not picking up this baby. 🙂

Supposedly AT&T might be coming out with their own branded version of the E71 called the E71x. It may or may not happen. Time will tell.

Sorry for the late post. I am usually reading the Nokia discussion forms. You'll get faster and possibly more knowledgeable responses there really:

the only way I know to get a more 'accurate' indication of battery life is to run the Nokia Energy Profiler that you can install here:

As you run it.. based on the energy consumption.. it will give you a reading in Hours:Minutes. That is the most accurate way I know of to show you how much battery life is left. Otherwise the battery indicator bar is actually pretty good at keeping track.
