Some questions about the E71

-I currently have a Treo 650 and recently got a new laptop with Vista 64 operating system and I found out that my Treo will not sync with it.
-Will the E71 sync with Vista64?
-Does the Nokia come with a desktop version to sync notes,contacts,calender? Not sure how that works.
-Is the speaker phone loud? I like loud speaker phones. Is the standard phone speaker loud? Should mention I drive a convertable.
-My Treo never did get loud enough.
-I tried typing on an iPhone and just could not stand the virtual keyboard.Many mistakes.
-How is the reception on the FM radio?
-I will be hooking up with AT&T, what is the least expensive voice/internet-data plan? I read somewhere that to add unlimited internet with AT&T it is only $15/month is thi...

All my thoughts below are about my unbranded unlocked Nokia E71 I bought via Newegg.

There is the Nokia PC Suite of programs and according to the PDF manual it should work fine with vista 64bit version.

As far as syncing it says:

You can synchronize a compatible Nokia phone with the following PC PIM applications:

Normally I have no pity for anyone who buys Vista on a piece of hardware, but the E71 is such a great phone I'll make an exception. There are two options that I know of.

The Nokia PC Suite installs a modem driver for the E71 so you can connect with that. Vista is listed as a supported OS, but the 64 bit version is not specifically list for the E71, so YMMV. The down side here is that your carrier will see the data traffic as "tethered data" and may charge you more for it.

The second option is an add-on program called JoikuSpot. It comes in a free "light" version that just supports http & https and a paid version that supports almost every protocol. This program turns your E...

I just got the E71x a week ago, abd I haven't had any luck getting it to work with 64-bit Vista. Unfortunately it's all I run so I've been a bit SOL until they can come up with a solution. I have more details on what I've tried to fix here:
