2.2 update
any idea when this will be released? i have read around that full push is complete and will be enabled, direct podcast downloads will be available, street view with maps and a few other things. ATT said that tethering will be available soon as and included update. any news???

Can they also unlock the bluetooth radio? All I can do is pair with headsets and my car stereo. My PC cannot pair with the iPhone. I find this very disappointing.

I read as recently as last week that Apple announced that they have no new products/updates on tap for 2008. So in my opinion, 2.2 will be 2009.
Rumor- from several dependable sites- has it that the 2.2 beta that was seeded to developers only included an "upgrade" that lets you view maps with street view. No copy/paste, flash, active 3rd party app support, etc.

Also read on BGR that 2.2 will include an update to the App Store. And could come out this year.
