All phones have their ups and downs, i just wish people would be open and honest about BOTH........LOL
I do not hate the iphone. I had it for 2 weeks and it is just simply lacking as a phone and those that complain about the ATT network are 100% correct.
Why do peeps take these comments so serious? Especially if they are indeed true! Call an apple an apple and a sour grape a sour grape......jeeeeeessssssshhhhhhh.
I have the LG Dare and love it but it has some crappy features............i admit it. Doesn't make me an inch shorter....LOL

"Behind the iPhone Software 2.0.2 fix to reduce dropped calls
The recent iPhone 2.0.2 software update addressed a problem with the iPhone 3G's power control that was causing dropped calls, according to a new report.

My current view is that clearly Apple and ATT are fighting. Apple set up firmware 2.0 to run the network in one way. ATT at some point realized that they were overselling their network and told Apple to throttle down the Pandora Radio and other data intensive apps by cutting down on the "power" of the phone.
I think it's important to point out that this is a source attributed to ATT. This "problem" that is in firmware 2.0 is not the reason why ATT oversold their network in places like downtown NYC or downtown Boston.
