How is reception of the 3gb in the princeton nj area. There seems to be lots of issues with the 3g reception discussion at apple new groups .

this might help. I am in north las vegas and I am having reception issues. Apple told me today that one bar is just as good as five. a sales rep showed me his phone and same recep, plus said all over vegas he never has got full bars. other things where said too , read the feed back that i got from the pros here.

The recent iPhone 2.0.2 software update addressed a problem with the iPhone 3G's power control that was causing dropped calls, according to a new report.

when i had att the bars mattered. i have vzw now, and the bars dont matter. i guess its where you live...
