don't get this phone if you like getting an alert when you get a text message!
I don't know what this guys problem is but I have no problems with test message alerts. This guy needs to take his phone in and exchange it and stop creating thread after thread and review after review. Either he doesn't have one and is just making this up or there is something else wrong. Good luck!

Half of the problems people find are simply user error then. Is that what your saying? I never had the issue my brother and his wife never had this issue, my dad didn't have this issue. My son's works perfect as well, so right there we five who never had an issue with text message alerts. Instead of blaming the phone maybe some should read the manual first and learn how to operate such high tech equipment.

ok so you got five good ones, congrats. im sure you know that just because you dont have the problems doesnt mean everyone else doesnt. the funny thing is i bet you, nor anyone in your family read the owners manual. i guess all those people who had any problem with their phone should smarten up and read the manual
