ATT vs VZW
I have had an iPhone since Jan '08. Love the phone, however the network SUCKS. I am in New Jersey mostly and I have lost more calls and get more 'errors' that I ever got with VZW. Not the phone because I had the same problem with my Nokia N75. All around the Trenton area (major city) I have this problem. Think its time to jump back to VZW. Waiting to check out new BB Thunder, full touch and all the goodies the iPhone is missing. Don't know how good the BB voice dial is. I am using the att voice command now and it works better than anything else I have ever used.

Jump now the AT&T network sucks. Hell look at their 3G footprint it has very little coverage and I know that is for data not voice. My aunt has AT&T and never can get a signal, but I pull out my Verizon phone and never have any problems. I could have zero bars and still make calls. In ten years with Verizon I have never had a dropped call and that is using my phone all across America since I travel a lot. Simple stated Verizon has the most reliable network hands down. If you can't make a call or use your phone it is basically a brick. And the 3G I phone is an overrated piece of junk missing many features found on entry level cells phones.

ATT is #1 in the US for a reason... Verizon has all sorts of billing issues! I have customers come in my AT&T store every day complaining about the billing system VZW uses. I was with them for 5 months and every single month I was charged for every minute that was supposed to be included with the "IN Calling" and every month I got to argue with a rep that they charged me incorrectly. Every month they credited back all the usage charges due to their mistake. My in-laws have verizon and there have been dozens of places that I have coverage in that they do not. I also had a Nokia N75 with the same dropped calls and errors in the same areas as my iPhone. Been with VZW for 10 years & rarely a dropped call. As far as VZW billing, never had a problem. As a matter fact, my daughter got an air card on my acct. Plan she took wasn't explained right, and wound up with an $840 bill. I called VZW, explained the problem and they credited me almost the entire bill.

I live in southeast PA, have done extensive traveling in the tri-state area, and I've had my iphone since oct 2007. Everytime I'm in jersey I never have reception problems. I can't specifically comment on trenton area coverage. But if you're willing to shell out the ETF to jump to verizon, that's your call. I love my iphone and never had a problem with it. Generally speaking, att and verizon get similar coverage all over the northeast and southeast.

You are a VZW clonie. I have met quite few clowns like yourself. CDMA does have better object penetration then GSM, so I will give you the fact that CDMA will perform better in that regard. How ever, when was the last time you were surfing the net with your phone while taking a call? Oh yeah, you can't with your piece of crap Verizon phone. Who the hell goes to the library anymore? Last I checked, I can just google what I am looking for in my Iphone while taking calls.

ATT phones can be unlocked and used around the world. Try doing that with Verizon phones. NOT...I have used VZW for many years and they are good but limited. You want change and new technology in your life go with AT&T. They aren't perfect either is VZW but who is in the industry ?
