Apple iPhone 3G
so what does this mean for 2G users.
Ive had the 2G since the day after i came out and im more than happy with my phone. being in the industry though, i know the benefit of moving to 3G. will 2G user apps and things of that nature slow down? will there be any incentive for 2G users to move to the 3G, thats an awful lot of money just to switch phones when i have a perfectly good 2G

It means nothing for 2g users since att's 3g network is virtually non existent!

What do you mean by 'non existent!'? As far as anything else, don't be surprised to see 2 different version of the 2.0 software. The 2G software might not update everything found on the 3G and no GPS.
