Typically you'll have to get your files saved to the device's onboard memory for them to be used as ringtones. i have the lotus, when you download the ringtones it gives you the option to post it to a contact, or you can go into you ringtones and hit set to contacts and then choose the contact and thats its.

the other option sets it as all incomming contacts
