Question for those Bold users...
Just wondering if anyone made the switch from the iPhone (which i have now) to the Bold. I am considering the switch being all of my friends have BlackBerrys and they all rave on how awesome it is. Just out of curiosity how do you like it? Hows the internet browser? Is the os easy to manage?
Thanks.. 😎

I was a long time BB user, then I switched to the iPhone 3G when it came out. Stuck with it for about four months and when the Bold came out, I went back to BB, and haven't regretted it at all. For be it was like coming home again, but for someone new to BB, it's quite a switch. The Bold's email function blows the iphone out of the water, especially if you have multiple email accounts. If you have a bunch of friends that have BB's, you'd love BlackBerry Messenger. It's like IM just between BB users. SMS and MMS messaging is better on the Bold. You can actually forward SMS msgs and send MMS msgs. I live and die by my Calendar and Task List and I like the Bold better. Both are much easier to manage and the recurring tasks option is great....

Any rumors about Verizon picking up the Bold?

I just made the switch a few days ago. My thought process was the same as yours. I also thought that if I didn't like the bold, i could return it and get the IPhone 3G, but it doesn't seem like thats going to happen. I absolutely love this phone. The OS works for me flawlessly. Since you have a lot of friends with BBs, youre going to love BB Messenger. The GPS is so much better on this than it is on the Iphone. I enjoy the fact that I can record video on the bold, which is something that is seriously lacking on the IPhone. Also the fact that you can forward text messages, and receive picture and video messages as well. Overall, if youre considering making the switch, definitely do it. You wont regret it
