The price more than likely won't drop. This phone having all the bells and whistles on it AT&T will get every drop of blood they can from customers. I got the 8820 when it first came out for $299.00 with two year contract and $449. without out one. As of today the prices are still the same. It's all about the money for AT&T. I maybe wrong, my two cents.

I got my Curve 8310 2 days before Thanksgiving last year for $99 no MIR. The 8310 wasn't out for that long and then it went back up. So maybe there is a chance.
